10/28/11 - Frank Armstrong Hosts New World Symphony Musicians for a Day on the Water

Frank recently hosted a group of Fellows from the New World Symphony (NWS) in Miami Beach aboard his boad, The Cavalier. The NWS, established in 1987 under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas, prepares highly gifted graduates of distinguished music programs for leadership roles in orchestras and ensembles around the world.

On Sunday, Sept 18, Frank departed from the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Coconut Grove with the musicians, all of whom are serving a three year fellowship with NWS. The purpose of the event was to give the hardworking group a day of relaxation as they cruised through Biscayne Bay.
